The Peer Recognitions feature in Wrenly allows organizations to celebrate and appreciate individual and team contributions. This guide provides instructions for administrators on launching and setting it up, as well as guidelines for employees and managers on how to send and manage recognitions effectively.
Launch and Setup
- Enable Recognitions: Admins are responsible for launching the recognition feature within their organization.
- Create a Recognition Channel: Set up a dedicated channel for recognitions, or select an existing one.
- Set Up Company Values: Define company values that can be associated with recognitions.
- User Group Configuration: Enable recognitions for various user groups.
- Team Announcement: Notify the team once the recognitions feature is fully set up.

How to Use Recognitions
- Send recognitions to appreciate team members.
- When sending a recognition, you can customize the following properties:
- Recipients: Add one or more recipients for your recognition.
- Custom Message: Write a personalized message to accompany your recognition.
- Company Values: Select a company value associated with your recognition or add one optionally.
- Images or GIFs: Enhance your recognition by including images or GIFs.
- Visibility: Choose to send the recognition publicly (visible to everyone) or privately (only the sender and receiver can view it).
- Anonymity: Decide whether to send the recognition with your real name or anonymously.
- Employees can view their recognition history on My Activity.
- Admins can incorporate recognitions into Feedback Fridays to motivate more employees to participate in sending out recognitions.
- If rewards are enabled, the recognition giver and receivers can earn points.
